HALO organized CLEAN MOVES EXPO - Trade forum at Hanover Fair
FIRST MOVER - HALO ENERGY
With the German Vice Chancellor and former Environment Minister, Sigmar Gabriel, as conference patron we founded and organised the "CLEAN MOVES" trade forum at Hanover Fair. A race for fuel efficient technology is on. In a time of fierce competition, we initiated the first bridgehead and independent trade hub for efficient mobility solutions. Not surprisingly, it was the German car manufacturing lobby, namely their public affairs arm VDA, that stepped on the brakes. Life is change. Keep moving. Whatever you do, do it with passion.
HALO - Marketing PR for "Renewable Energy Finance Forum" in London
HALO ENERGY undertook a marketing communications campaign in association with Euromoney Energy Events for the Annual Renewable Energy Finance Forum (http://www.euromoneyenergy.com), a leading international investment forum. Halo Energy co-ordinated the international marketing campaign for the 4th, 5th and 6th Annual RE Finance Forum in London. We secured a significant increase in delegate numbers. Halo generated high level media coverage in leading international business media, such as Financial Times, Bloomberg, Dow Jones and Reuters. As Euromoney Energy Events advisory board member Halo Energy was engaged in the conference programme and content development. Due to this success Halo continued to advise Euromoney on expansion projects at Wall Street and in other markets. As a result of Halo’s marketing communications work this Euromoney conference is now a quotable global industry forum.
HALO generated - Global Media Coverage - Best Practice Case Study
London, Foreign Press Association at Hyde Park: The HALO Press Manager of the Energy Watch Group, Ralph Kappler, has done a great job: more than twenty international correspondents as well as TV-teams from CNN and Sky are present. After the initial moderation Jörg Schindler, one of the authors of the Oil Study, presents the results. The core messages ”Peak Oil has already taken place“ and ”the descent of the oil production will be steep“ electrifies the journalists. Hans-Josef Fell as a parliamentarian draws political conclusions: ”Energy efficiency and the development of renewable energy sources must be accelerated in order to reduce the economic consequences of the foreseeable shortage“. Jeremy Leggett, formerly oil geologist for BP and Shell, government adviser and now head of the largest British solar company, Solar Century calls out to invest in renewable energies and to use the economic chances. The following question-answer dialogue is intensive right up to the end of the press conference. But Kappler has still more in store for this day. Now further interviews as well as operational meetings with British parliamentarians are announced: - TV interviews from CNN and Al Jazeera with Hans-Josef Fell and Jörg Schindler, - Radio interview with Hans-Josef Fell in the BBC Studio, - Lunch with Gregory Baker, shadow Environment Minister of the Conservatives, who discussed the realization of the Renewable Energy Act with Hans-Josef Fell, - Meeting with the parliamentarian John Hemming, leader of the British Peak-Oil Parliamentarian Group, - Invitation to the House of Commons for a meeting of the British “Parliamentarian Group for Renewable Energies”. These meetings had consequences. In the “Prime Minister’s Question Time” Gordon Brown, the British Prime Minister was asked difficult questions. Thereupon Brown again defended the ”20 percent“-renewable-energy-aim, which British Government Lobbyists in Brussels had previously wanted to keep their distance from.
FIRST MOVER - HALO organised trading hub for efficient mobility
Under the patronship of Vice Chancellor and former Environment Minister, Sigmar Gabriel, the HALO ENERGY initiated and organised CLEAN MOVES EXPO was from 2005 to 2009 the leading international trading hub and conference forum for market proven efficient mobility technologies. “Winning the End of Oil Game” Mobility sectors are struggling with change. A race for energy efficient technologies is on. In a time of fierce competition, it was a smart technology bridgehead and a forum for open exchange. Annual flagship events were presented at Hannover Fair as part of the ENERGY Show. A high-octane conference forum right in the centre of the CLEAN MOVES exhibition served as main meeting point and speakers' corner.
